About

Barefoot Freedom was inspired by Jolene’s years spent exploring the mountains, forests, and open spaces of Colorado and Oregon. Time in nature became more than recreation—it was a reminder of how important it is to slow down, take a deep breath, and reconnect with ourselves. Whether hiking a trail, sitting beside a river, or simply feeling the earth beneath bare feet, nature offered a sense of calm, perspective, and renewal.

Those experiences continue to shape Barefoot Freedom today. Through mindfulness, movement, therapeutic support, and shared experiences, the goal is simple: to create opportunities for people to pause, reconnect with themselves, and find greater ease in everyday life.

Life brings stress, uncertainty, loss, and change. Barefoot Freedom is an invitation to explore practices that help you feel more grounded, present, and connected to what matters most.
